Weeks after his directional debut, Paul Okoye has confirmed he is taking a break from the spotlight. He mostly will be working from behind the scenes, directing the videos of his new artistes Lucy and Muno.
“Nowadays, I am mostly behind the scenes. Like I did the Muno video, now we are co-directing Lucy’s video with Clarence Peters,” the P-Square star said, adding he chose the new career path because of the many poorly directed videos that make it to the screen.
Now, he is tenaciously working to ensure that his Rudeboy Records stars stand out.
For Lucy who he unveiled a few months ago, Okoye described her as Nigeria’s version of top singer, Rihanna.
“Look at her face,” he laughed, saying, “[She is] Naija Riri!”

However, Paul Okoye had been accused of ripping the works of other people.
Recall that in May, the Okoye twin got embroiled in messy feud with Ynaija, after the blog accused him of Ripping from Rihanna’s video ‘Work’ for his artiste, Muno’s first music video.
So, will Okoye prove critics different this time? We can’t wait to see what he is cooking with Clarence Peters.
What do you think?
